It's that time of year again! As we come out of hibernation and realize that bikini season is right around the corner, we begin to eat more kale, start new workout plans, and complain about being hungry. Who is better to describe this stressful, annoying time of year than the teenage psychic Raven Baxter?
When you realize that it is seriously time to start your diet:
Well, I guess that I can start next week.
OK, it's time to begin. My first meal is a kale, spinach, and broccoli smoothie.
Discovering that a kale, spinach, and broccoli smoothie is not tasty:
Dragging your friends to the gym with you.
Maybe you should go on a nice walk?
When you're getting ready to look at yourself in the mirror, out of hope that one day of healthy eating and exercise has given you a fabulous summer bod:
Finding out that is not the case:
Giving yourself way too much praise for not eating junk food for a whole day:
Realizing that alcohol and Pokey Stix are two things that are definitely not on your summer bod diet plan:
When you really start to miss junk food:
So, you decide to give yourself a cheat day.
You get very excited about it.
When you take your cheat day a little too far:
Someone dares to ask you, "Aren't you on a diet?"
So, you brush them off and keep doing your thing.
Then you remember that cheat day calories are, in fact, real calories.
You realize that you've already seriously messed up this diet.
Listen to the teenage psychic. Continue to tell yourself that you'll start the real diet on Monday.
